Mon guide

Privacy policy

“Mon guide” Android app. Publisher: Anthony Mourier. Last updated: 30 September 2026.

In short

Data collected

Reminders (notifications) are scheduled on your phone: their content never leaves the device.

Purpose

This data is only used to prepare your trips, sign you in and find your trips on your devices. It is never sold, rented, or used for advertising or profiling.

Data hosting

Accounts, trips and the server are hosted by Supabase, in its European Union region (Ireland). Communications between the app and the server are encrypted (HTTPS).

How the server processes requests

To prepare a trip, our server queries public data services (OpenStreetMap, Photon, Open-Meteo, Wikidata, French Ministry of Culture data, public holidays…). It sends them the places needed for the calculation, never your email address.

Address search and “Use my location” go through the Photon service (komoot, Germany), which receives the searched text or the location, with no information about your account.

Locations are not stored as such: our caches and technical logs only keep a rounded value (about 1 km). Logs contain no email address and no street address. To prevent abuse, the server keeps an irreversible fingerprint (salted hash) of the IP address for one day, never the IP address itself.

The base map is loaded by the app directly from the OpenStreetMap tile servers, which therefore receive your phone's IP address (OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy).

Itinerary review by an artificial intelligence assistant

This review is optional: it is offered the first time you prepare a trip and can be turned on or off at any time in the settings ("Review by the AI assistant"). If you turn it on, the itinerary of a new trip is reviewed by an artificial intelligence service, Mistral AI (France), which suggests adjustments; Mon guide checks each of them before applying it.

Data sent by our server: destination city and country, dates, number of travelers, travel mode, profile and meal preferences, names, categories and opening hours of the public places of the itinerary, distances, chance of rain, and your "Your wishes" text if filled in. Never an address (including your accommodation's), coordinates, e-mail address, or the title or note of your personal stops.

Purpose: improving your itinerary. Our logs keep neither the text sent nor the answer; a daily counter with no content (account identifier, or salted hash of the IP address) limits the number of reviews and is deleted after 90 days. The provider's processing of this data is governed by its own terms (Mistral AI terms).
